LINPAC Packaging, Europe’s leading multi-material food packaging company, has launched a blog to provide it with a further platform to communicate with its customers.

The blog – which can be found at – will allow the company to tell customers, partners, colleagues and others in the packaging industry about developments at the company.

Barbara Laing, LINPAC Packaging’s Communications Manager, said:  “As innovators in packaging we wanted to take that ethos right through our communications and how we talk to our many stakeholders. The blog allows us to quickly publish news about the group and provides us with a platform to air our thoughts on issues surrounding the retail and packaging industry.

“If our corporate website is our ‘suited and booted’ site our blog is our ‘dress-down Friday’ look which, hopefully makes us more accessible.”

Members of the management team writing on the blog include Adam Barnett, Vice President Sales, Marketing & Innovation; Alan Davey, Director of Innovation;
Chris Horton, Vice President Operations and Mark Reynolds, HSHE & Energy Manager.

Alongside the blog, LINPAC Packaging has also created a presence on Twitter at @LINPACPackaging and has company profile on Linkedin.

Mrs Laing said: “Blogs are rapidly becoming a critical part of corporate communications strategies. More than 100 million blogs exist already, and as a company that prides itself on innovation we are keen to embrace all forms of communication. So you can now keep up to date on what’s happening at LINPAC Packaging by subscribing to our RSS feed and also us on Twitter and Linkedin.”
