LINPAC on the ball again with Featherstone Rovers

We are delighted to announce that we have further strengthened our commercial partnership with the Featherstone Rovers and will be the main shirt sponsor in 2014 on both the home and away playing shirt as well as replicas.
LINPAC’s name first appeared on the Featherstone Rovers shirt in 1981/1982 in the first ever shirt sponsorship deal in Rugby League and we were the main sponsor of the club until 1989.
LINPAC returned as commercial partner in 2013 and appeared on the shorts but in a return to the iconic playing kits of the 1980’s will adorn the front of the Rovers shirt.
LINPAC has a long association with the town of Featherstone and we employ more than 300 in the area. The commercial agreement includes tickets for employees, pitch side perimeter advertising, hospitality and the opportunity for Featherstone Rovers to be actively promoted at the site.
Featherstone Rovers Commercial Manager Paul Taylor said: “We are extremely proud to announce that LINPAC have strengthened their commitment to the club in 2014. The LINPAC brand on the front of the Featherstone Rovers shirt is one of the iconic commercial deals in the history of sport in the UK and fondly remembered.
“I am sure supporters and the town of Featherstone will be excited to see one of the major employers town and a cornerstone of the local economy supporting the club in this way once again.  I look forward to working with LINPAC in 2014 and would like to thank Graeme Robinson, Joanna Stephenson and Barbara Laing of LINPAC for their support.”
Graeme Robinson, Managing Director of LINPAC UK & Ireland said: “We have been proud to support Featherstone Rovers during the 2013 season and are very pleased to continue our sponsorship deal with Featherstone Rovers. Both Rovers and ourselves share a passionate commitment to the success and development of the local area and we are looking forward to the 2014 season with great anticipation”.
Craig Poskitt, Chief Executive of Featherstone Rovers said: “We were thrilled when LINPAC became a commercial partner once again in 2013 after more than 20 years away from the club. Their increased support and commitment to the club is testament to all the hard work we are doing behind the scenes at Rovers. This is a tremendous boost to our Super League aspirations and we look forward to our players once again having the truly global LINPAC brand on the front of their shirts once again.”
